The FPSC provides incentive compensation to family physicians to support aspects of longitudinal family practice.
This includes panel management, preventative care, chronic disease management, complex care planning, patient telephone management, and conferencing with other providers. In addition, the FPSC supports family physicians to provide care in priority areas such as in-hospital, long-term care facilities, maternity, mental health, and palliative care.
For support with billing FPSC incentive fees, family physicians can contact billing experts and participate in billing education webinars.
FPSC fees are available to BC’s eligible family physicians to help improve the delivery of patient care by supporting and providing guideline-informed care in areas such as chronic disease management, maternity care, mental health, and care for the frail and elderly.
