After a successful first year, the GPSC will continue to offer its billing education webinars about GPSC incentive fees and select MSP fees for all family physicians.

To better support quality improvement (QI) activities, the Practice Support Program (PSP) has updated how it compensates and certifies family physicians and eligible team members who engage in this work.

Doctors and practice teams can now hear from their patients about their experiences and interactions with a family practice using the new GPSC Patient Experience Tool.

Early Results

6,000+ patient surveys have
been completed across 39
practices, participated by 
72 GPs, 69 MOAs, and 13 AHPs,
during the pilot phase.

PSP simplifies certification process for doctors

Family practice teams are expanding, and family physicians and other team members are increasingly focused on quality improvement (QI) activities. In recognition of this, PSP has updated how it compensates family physicians and team members for these activities.*

Changes to PSP’s compensation policy are based on feedback from family physicians and are effective June 15, 2019
