The Board of Doctors of BC has approved the appointment of Dr Anthon Meyer as the next GPSC Co-Chair. Dr Shelley Ross has graciously agreed to support Dr Meyer in his transition over the next few months.
The General Practice Services Committee (GPSC) is implementing changes to incentive fees for family doctors starting April 1, 2020 that will streamline, clarify, and improve rule consistency across fees. March 31 update: Updated fee guides posted on GPSC fees page.

As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft no longer provides security updates or support for PCs with the Windows 7 operating system. The GPSC's Doctors Technology Office (DTO) has produced resources to help guide clinics during this transition:
Eligible family doctors who provide maternity care and in-hospital care received retroactive payments on their January 15, 2020 remittance statement for the rate increases introduced by the GPSC last year. Retroactive payments are identified by adjustment code “80.” The MSP system has been updated with the new rates since December 2019. The rate increases have been paid retroactively to April 1, 2019. The increases apply for the first hospital visit of the day (P13338) and the first 25 deliveries of the calendar year (G14004/5/8/9).
